Tori's journey towards a successful career in marketing, sales, and business development began with notable achievements in the United Kingdom. Her accomplishments include receiving National Awards in Public Speaking and Poetry, leveraging a decade of training in theater, acting, verse, and prose. Additionally, she earned Bronze and Silver Awards from the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA).


Her passion for Africa and development propelled her to pursue a degree in Politics and Development Economics at SOAS (School of Oriental & African Studies), University of London. This academic foundation laid the groundwork for her subsequent achievements in marketing, sales, and business development on a global scale. Tori is a highly experienced professional with over 25 years of experience. She is currently the Managing Director of Alliance Development Partners (ADP), where she works with C-Suite and Public Sector leaders to drive impactful commercial endeavors for the public good. Tori specializes in consulting, trade, investment, events, content, membership, entrepreneurship, and inclusive prosperity. Prior to this, she was a Freelance Commercial Director for InspiredMinds!, where she contributed her skills to a global tech and science strategy group focusing on AI for Good in various sectors.


Her previous role as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Invest Africa Ltd, showcased her commitment to guiding sustainable capital towards key prospects in Africa. Tori's diverse expertise is further demonstrated in her eight-month tenure as a consultant for Growth Gateway, a London-based business support service connecting African and UK businesses to government trade and investment initiatives. Her multifaceted career also includes a two-year and ten-month engagement as a Freelance Contractor, where she undertook various roles such as commercial strategy and partnerships, investment and private capital specialist, business development campaigns, marketing and branding specialist, and business events specialist.


Tori's leadership acumen was evident in her role as Chief Programme & Business Development Officer at Unicorn Group, where she led branding, business development, and partnerships for a Venture Capital firm and incubator. In her position as Managing Director at Montgomery West Africa, spanning three years, she led a team in delivering conferences and exhibitions in the UK with a focus on West Africa. Tori's extensive career journey includes roles such as Senior Commercial Partnerships Executive at the Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales (ICAEW), Business Development Manager at IQPC South Africa, Brand Manager at Pfizer, and various roles at Terrapinn and IQPC London.


Tori Abiola's rich professional background includes a significant role as the Head of Development at Euromoney Training EMEA, where she made impactful contributions from September 1997 to August 2001, spanning four years. Based in London, United Kingdom, Tori played a pivotal role in collaborating with financial services and government organizations to address their specific financial training needs. Her responsibilities encompassed a wide range of activities, including P&L management, product development, marketing, and sales for the assigned region. During her tenure at Euromoney Training EMEA, Tori showcased her adeptness in understanding the unique requirements of financial services and government sectors, contributing to the growth and effectiveness of financial training programs. This experience further underscores her comprehensive skill set and dedication to fostering professional development within these critical sectors.She was Head of Development at Euromoney Training EMEA from 1997 to 2001. Based in London, she worked with financial services and government organizations to develop training programs. She was adept at understanding their unique requirements and contributed to the growth of these programs.


Throughout her career, Tori has honed her skills in marketing, sales, business development, entrepreneurship, sponsorship management, event planning, business networking, venue management, faculty relations, training course development, and international sales. Her commitment to driving positive change through impactful and inclusive business practices underscores her passion for making a meaningful difference in her professional endeavors.
